Personal Remarks
I have been very pleased with HostGator’s VPS package. I currently use level 3 (level 3 is the first level with fully managed support from the HostGator staff – and I always have lots of questions) and have not had one issue yet. I have plenty (and I mean plenty) of room to grow with this option and have the ability to sell out some space if I so desire. Personally, I think the best part about using HostGator’s VPS package is the ability to help out family members. Because I’ve got so much free space on my server, I am able to host family websites and blogs on my server. I don’t charge them anything (though sometimes they give me some extra cash because I’m being nice) and they get much, much better service than they would anywhere else. For me personally, it is a win/win/win situation all the way around.
